Noel Basconcillo.
Noel is an Operating Partner of Millennial Design. How Noel got into the industry of the design is a unique one. He started off by being a fan of the A&E reality television series "Storage Wars," the History Channel's "Pawn Stars," and other similar shows. It led him to start bidding on abandoned storage units and re-selling the items at flea markets and antiques shows and became a dealer.
The journey continued when Noel became the property manager for a three-story home in San Francisco that was built in 1890. This gave him the opportunity to design and execute layouts for two living rooms, two kitchens, and several bedrooms and common areas using the items he acquired from storage unit auctions. The large, old house began feeling more lively and welcoming as a result of his work. He finally realized what it took to make a house a home. He later found his passion in design with the Mid-Century Modern time period in 2013. He began to buy, sell and design his spaces with furniture that he acquired throughout the Bay Area ’.
What started as a hobby turned into a showroom in San Francisco that Noel ran as a business. Friends, family, and strangers began approaching him about designing their home spaces and utilizing his custom-restored furniture. His first professional staging job was booked in August of 2017. Several more followed, and the rest, as they say, is history.
